Powerful Features for Ethical Shopping

Everything you need to make informed purchasing decisions that align with your values

Snap, Scan, Type, or Talk

Snap a photo of a product or a whole shelf, scan a barcode, type a brand name, or ask by voice. Our AI identifies the products and the brands behind them.

Verified Data Sources

Analysis backed by 17 public data sources including corporate ownership records, FEC political donations, EPA violations, OSHA safety and wage-and-hour records, the U.S. forced-labor list, boycott databases, and certifications such as B Corp, USDA Organic, and EPA Safer Choice. Every claim is tagged [VERIFIED] or [ESTIMATED], and you can switch any source off in Settings.

Guided Onboarding

Choose from 6 preset value profiles - Progressive Activist, Conservative Values, Environmentalist, Human Rights Champion, Balanced, or Custom. Or customize all 13 dimensions yourself.

13-Dimension Scoring

Political leanings, human rights, animal rights, LGBTQ+, environment, Palestine/BDS, Uyghur rights, climate action, labor rights, and more. Your score is calculated in code from each brand's stored ratings and your settings, never written by the AI, and you see where the brand ranks among the brands we've rated, scored for your values (for example, “Top 12% for your values”).

Who Really Owns It

That indie-looking brand might be Unilever. Corporate ownership chains from Wikidata, checked against our own curated ownership records for hundreds of popular brands, reveal the parent company behind the label.

Verified Facts Card

Under every analysis: facts straight from public records, such as the owner, founders and CEO, company PAC giving, lobbying, B Corp status, and boycott-list checks, each with its source and date. Built from the data itself, never from AI text.

History & Brand Tracking

Every scan is saved on your phone. Track brands you care about, keep shopping lists, and look up any brand you already checked in History without using a scan.

Smart Alternatives

Get suggestions for the same kind of product from brands that score clearly better for your values, including certified B Corps that make it. Every suggestion is a brand we have rated, and when nothing is clearly better, we say so.

Share It or Flag It

Share a result as an image card with friends. Think something is wrong? Tap “This looks wrong” and it goes to our review queue. Source citations and a confidence badge sit under every answer.
